A postdoctoral position is available immediately to work in the areas of DNA repair, chromatin dynamics, and the human genetic disease Fanconi anemia. The Howlett lab employs biochemical, genetic, genomic, and proteomic approaches to study the function and regulation of the Fanconi anemia DNA repair pathway. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join a dynamic research team. Experience in mammalian tissue culture and computational biology preferred. The biomedical research infrastructure at the University of Rhode Island is outstanding and the research environment is highly collaborative across a broad range of disciplines.

Required Qualifications

A Ph.D. in cell and molecular biology or a related field.

Demonstrated strong record of publication in peer-reviewed journals.

Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups.
