Job Description
Lake Sumter Home Builders Association is the recognized representative of the local construction industry for all construction and related trades in Lake and Sumter Counties. The role of the Executive Officer is to serve our members and the community, educating, advocating, recruiting and developing a strong presence for the Home Builders and Associates of both Lake and Sumter Counties. The mission of LSHBA is to work with local, state, and national affiliates to continue the forward momentum of the Building Industry through networking, legislative support and community involvement.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in business administration or 5 years work experience in business setting.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Non-profit setting, marketing or event planning.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles by education or minimum of 6 months experience using financial management software such as Quickbooks.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Experience using various social media platforms to coordinate education, marketing and promotional activities.
- Proficient in MS Office.
M-F 8-5, with required nights and weekends for meetings, events, and conferences.
Travel expected to attend association regional or state meetings, events, and other conferences.
Competitive Salary - $55,000 plus generous bonus opportunities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 per year
